What to expect from a Morpheus8 treatment?
Morpheus8 treatment is conducted using a local anesthetic to decrease the sensation of both the microneedles and radiofrequency energy penetration. After the topical numbing cream has desensitized the skin, Nurse Irena begins the treatment using a small handheld applicator. The radio frequency device has tips with various depths. Nurse Irena selects the tips and pins to increase or decrease the amount of radiofrequency & the depth of the pins the patient’s skin receives. This customized treatment approach allows the specialist to provide patients with maximum results. Total procedure time is usually one and a half hours, depending on the size of the skin area treated. The treatment time includes 50 min numbing cream, 15 min performing Morpheus8 treatment and another 15 min performing PRP treatment if patients choose to combine these treatments together.
How long is the recovery time after Morpheus8 RF Microneedling treatment?
Our patients' recovery from their feedbacks has been different. Many report having very red skin for 5 hours only, minimal to no bruising and their skin started to look normal after that period. Some of our patients experienced redness and minimal bruising until the next day. Then a smaller percentage of our patients, mainly the age group over 50, who bruise the most. The latter the bruising might take 2-3 week to be fully gone. However every patient is unique and recovery will look different.
When will I notice results after Morpheus8?
Patients will notice that their face looks much better after their procedure. As your skin heals collagen tightens and you will see improvements in your facial appearance. Four to six short weeks after their procedure, patients will see their final results.
How many treatments will I need?
Morpheus8 begins to stimulate change immediately after the first treatment. Depending on the extent of improvement a patient desires, a series of 2 to 4 treatments may be considered.
