Laser Hair Removal Pre-Treatment Instructions & After Care Guide

Say goodbye to razors and hello to smooth, carefree skin with our advanced laser hair removal treatment that’s fast, comfortable, and designed for long-lasting results. To ensure the best results and a smooth recovery, please follow these pre-treatment and aftercare instructions

Pre-Treatment Instructions for Laser Hair Removal:

Avoid Sun Exposure

Protect your skin from sun exposure and tanning 3-4 weeks prior treatment or use a minimum SPF 30 sunscreen regularly to prevent skin damage and complications during and after the treatment.

Stop Topical Skincare Products

Refrain from using any topical products that may irritate your skin, such as retinoids, exfoliants, alpha or beta hydroxy acids, or other harsh skincare products, for 2-3 days before your treatment. These products can increase skin sensitivity and the risk of adverse reactions during the procedure. To protect your skin and ensure the best results, switch to gentle skincare options during this period to keep your skin calm and balanced.

Temporarily Stop Medications

If your medical condition permits, avoid using anticoagulant medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood thinners for 7-10 days before your treatment. These medications can increase the risk of bruising and bleeding during the procedure.

Shave The Area Clean

Shave the treatment area before your appointment and ensure that all shaved hair is removed. This helps the treatment to be more effective and reduces the risk of irritation. Ensure your skin is thoroughly clean, free of any lotions, oils, makeup, or other products. Clean skin will help the treatment work more efficiently and minimize the risk of complications.

Aftercare Instructions for Laser Hair Removal

Apply Sun Protection

Protect the treated area from direct sun exposure and apply SPF for 3 weeks after the treatment. This will help prevent sun damage and protect your skin as it recovers. Continue to use sunscreen regularly for 3 weeks leading up to your next session to ensure your skin is in the best possible condition for further treatments.

Keep Moisturized

You can apply a moisturizer after your laser treatment. Keeping your skin hydrated will help support the aftercare process and maintain skin hydration.

Let Your Skin Calm Before Using Make-up

If your skin feels calm and isn’t showing any signs of irritation, you can apply makeup right after your laser treatment.
