Treatment with Plus90 is intended for feminine wellness and approved for muscle stimulation, relaxation, pain reduction, improvement of blood circulation and for the treatment of the symptoms of Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM). To ensure the best results and a smooth recovery, please follow these Pre-treatment and After Care instructions:
Pre-Treatment Instructions for Plus90:
Stop Using Topical Products
Refrain from using any topical products that may irritate your skin, such as retinoids, exfoliants, alpha or beta hydroxy acids, or other harsh skincare products, for 2-3 days before your treatment. These products can increase skin sensitivity and the risk of adverse reactions during the procedure. To protect your skin and ensure the best results, switch to gentle skincare options during this period to keep your skin calm and balanced.
Temporarily Stop Taking Medications:
If your medical condition permits, avoid using anticoagulant medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood thinners for 1-2 weeks before your treatment. These medications can increase the risk of bruising and bleeding during the procedure.
Shave & Wash The Treatment Area:
Shave the treatment area 2-4 days before your appointment and ensure that all shaved hair is removed. Please note, hair can not be waxed or chemically removed before Plus90. Ensure your skin is thoroughly clean, free of any lotions, oils, makeup, or other products. Clean skin will help the treatment work more efficiently and minimize the risk of complications.
For Patients with a History of Herpes:
If you have a history of herpes and your physician has prescribed Acyclovir or Valacyclovir, please take the medication as directed prior to your treatment for effective prophylaxis.
After-Care Instructions for Plus90
Avoid Hot Water:
Refrain from using very hot water on the treated area for at least 2 days after the treatment to prevent irritation.
Limit Mechanical Contact & Friction:
Avoid any mechanical contact or friction with the treated area for at least 2 days after the session. This includes rubbing, scratching, or any other activities that could cause irritation.
Watch for Complications:
After each treatment session, if you notice any signs of infection, excessive swelling, redness, pain, or any other unusual symptoms please contact your physician. Prompt attention to these signs will help ensure a smooth recovery.
Follow Your Recommended Treatment Schedule:
The number of treatment sessions needed typically ranges from 2 to 3, depending on your individual needs and treatment goals. These sessions will be spaced according to your personalized treatment plan to ensure optimal results.
