What Is BioRepeel?
BioRepeel is a biphasic chemical peel built around a 35% concentration of trichloroacetic acid (TCA). Unlike a classic TCA peel, BioRepeel’s formulation separates a lipophilic and a hydrophilic phase, which are combined with amino acids, vitamins, and supporting acids before application. This buffered structure is designed to allow the TCA to work on the skin’s surface layer while producing noticeably less visible peeling and flaking than a traditional high-strength TCA peel, even though the acid concentration itself is relatively high.
What It Can Help With
BioRepeel is typically used to help reduce the appearance of acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin texture, fine lines, dullness, and enlarged pores. Because the treatment works by encouraging gentle exfoliation and supporting the skin’s natural renewal process, many clients find it suits areas where they want a refreshed, more even-toned look without extended downtime.
Who It’s a Good Fit For
This treatment is often chosen by clients who want visible improvement in skin tone and texture but who cannot take extended time away from work or social activities for recovery. It may also be a good option for those who have tried milder peels or exfoliating treatments and are looking for a next step. As with any chemical peel, a consultation with our team helps determine whether BioRepeel – or one of the other peel options we offer – is the right match for your skin type and goals.
Combining With Microneedling
For clients looking to address texture and tone more comprehensively, BioRepeel can be paired with microneedling in the same visit for $500. Combining the two treatments is designed to let the peel’s exfoliating action work alongside microneedling’s collagen-stimulating effect, which some clients find helpful for scarring and overall skin quality.
What to Expect
During your appointment, your provider will cleanse the skin and apply the BioRepeel solution in the clinic’s controlled protocol. Most clients describe a mild tingling or warming sensation during application. Because of its buffered formulation, BioRepeel typically produces mild redness or a sensation of tightness for a day or two afterward, with less visible peeling than many clients expect from a 35% TCA peel. A series of sessions, spaced several weeks apart, is generally recommended to work toward fuller results.
One of Several Peel Options
BioRepeel is one of a few chemical peel options available at Dea Beauty Clinic, and our team can help you decide which peel best suits your skin concerns and goals during a consultation.
